Tina Smith

 IMG_8642.JPGTina is a Harrisburg   native who joined the  Animal Health Care   Center in 1994.  She has  been involved in   veterinary  medicine   locally  since 1985.

 Tina's family includes Steve and a  menagerie  of rescued pets. They have  three  mixed  breed  dogs, Lucy, Lolly and  Penny,  and  four  cats,  Munch, Tom, Birdie  and  Alfredo.

 In her time outside of being the  surgery  technician at the Animal Health  Care  Center, Tina is involved in ballet  dancing,  cat  rescue, and travel,  especially to Hawaii.  She  also enjoys  many outdoor activities:  walking  her  dogs, gardening, and playing  tennis. She  works at a local nursery and is responsible  for the many beautiful flowers and plants in and around our facility.

Stephanie Youtz, CVT

IMG_8655.JPG Stephanie is originally from  Shellsville  but currently resides in  Annville. She is  a Licensed  Veterinary Technician  who   received her degree from Wilson  College in 1993. Stephanie has  been in  the veterinary field since  1987 and  began working with us in  1998. She is    also our office  manager.

 Stephanie's family includes her husband  Rick, his sons Aaron and  Tyler,  and her  daughter, Sierra.  They have a  yellow   lab named Boone and Tyler's dog,  a   chocolate lab named Turbo.They also  have 2 goats named Elmer and Lotus   and  a pot belly pig named Paisley. 

Stephanie likes to spend her free time with her family in the mountains where they enjoy snow mobiling, 4-wheeling, and jet skiing. She also enjoys reading.

Sue Miller

      sue.jpgSue is a Cumberland Valley High      School graduate and attended Bradley     Academy for the Visual Arts  and Harrisburg  Area Community  College.

 She grew up in Mechanicsburg and  now  resides in Hershey.

 Sue started with us in 1999 and  has  been involved in Veterinary  Medicine  since  1995.  She enjoys  pottery,  photography  and  baking in her spare  time. 





Jennie Hand

 Jennie began working with us in  1999.  She is originally from  Manheim and  currently resides in  Myerstown with her  husband and two  daughters. She a  terrier named Sally and Jack Russell mix   named Hannah, a blue iguana named Blu   and several chickens. 

 At work, some of her favorite  tasks  include handling  and  treating  exotic  animals and pocket  pets such as  rabbits,  guinea pigs and  hamsters. 


 In her free time, Jennie enjoys going to the beach, swimming, going to the movies, and spending time with her family. Additionally, Jennie is a HUGE Philadelphia Eagles fan who enjoys watching games at home or attending games in Philadelphia with her husband.

Shannon Hess, CVT

IMG_8661.JPG A Hershey native, Shannon and  her  husband   Jerry have three dogs, a  yellow lab mix named   Franny, a  black  lab named Atley, and a fox-   red labrador named Fred. They also have   two   cats:  Joker and Troika.

 Shannon is a Licensed Veterinary  Technician in   the States of New  York  and Pennsylvania who  earned  her  degree in 1998 from  Medaille  College  in Buffalo, New  York. She has  practiced in the  Central  Pennsylvania  area   since  graduating and began  working  with us in   2004.

 Shannon enjoys continuing  education  and updating her  knowledge on animal  care. In her free time Shannon  enjoys,  hiking, running, watching the  Hershey  Bears.

Amy  Ebersole

IMG_0523.JPG Amy joined us in 1998 and resides in Manheim  with  her husband, Kenny, and three children, son  Jared  and daughters Blake & Alyssa.


 Amy's family includes five dogs: Asa, Flint,  Riley,  Simon Jr, and Brooke. Amy also has a  cat  named  Twirley. In her  limited free  time, Amy enjoys  hiking,  gardening, playing with  all the dogs,  petsitting, and camping.

 Amy and her husband are currently training  their  dogs Brooke and Flint as  search and rescue dogs with MIDSAR (Middle Creek Search and Rescue) Visit http://www.midsar.org/ to learn more.

Tina Flowers

tinaflowers.jpgTina is a Central Pennsylvania native who joined the Animal Health Care Center in 1994. She has worked in animal care since 1986. Tina has extensive knowledge from her study and attendance at workshops on dog training and behavior, natural healthcare for pets, and Natural Horsemanship.

Tina's family includes many beloved pets: two dogs named Chuck and Henry,  a conure named Squirt, and two rose breasted cockatoos, Sunny and Pinkie. Tina also has a cat named Squeeky and 5 mini silky fainting goats.

In her time outside of the hospital, Tina enjoys baking organic food and treats for animals, visiting zoos, and is a talented wildlife painter. She is happy to be a part of the great team at Animal Health Care Center and is proud of the work we all do.


Amber Donato, CVT

Amber_D.JPG Amber began working at the  Animal Health  Care Center in  April 2013. She is originally  from  Lancaster and  currently  lives in  Lebanon  with her  husband Sean and  daughter Sarah

 Amber graduated from the  Vet  Tech  Institute of  Pittsburgh in  2011. 

 At AHCC, Amber enjoys being the Monday  surgery tech and working appointments with our patients and clients the rest of the  week.

 Amber has five cats: Jack, Roo, Silly Goose,  Mickey and Herman. She also has a green- cheeked conure named Bird and a green- cheeked amazon named Jade. She also has a rescued pomeranian named Puff and a german shepherd named Gretchen.

Amber enjoys teaching her cats tricks in her spare time.

 Amber Gilbert

IMG_0485.JPG Amber is originally from Queens, N.Y.  but moved to the Harrisburg area with  her  family in 2001. Amber joined the  AHCC in  November 2014 as a  receptionist and has  taken the  Veterinary Assistant Program at  Dauphin County Vo-tech.


 Her family includes a  golden retreiver  named  Atlas, and her cat  named Penelope.

 In her free time, Amber enjoys art,  watching   and attending games to see her  New York   Giants and spending time with  her  family and   pets.



Blake Ebersole

 Blake started at the AHCC in   2017. She is a graduate of   Christian Homeschool Academy of   Scholastic Excellence and recently   completed her veterinary   technician  program at York   Techincal Institute (YTI)  Blake   currently resides   in   Manheim   but   is  originally from   Elizabethtown. 

 

 In her free time, Blake enjoys  hiking with her dog Asa , listening to music, hanging out with her friends and has a passion for photography.
